About The Position

We are seeking certified Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) in or near Lewiston, Maine. As a BHP, you will provide care to clients between the ages of 1-21. Your role will involve providing supervision and therapeutic support to children facing severe and persistent behavioral challenges. This support will be delivered in the client's home or surrounding community.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration.
• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• An active BHP Certification is not required.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus (e.g., education, childcare, babysitting/nannying).
• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology.
• Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
• Safely transport the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
• Follow the client’s treatment plan outlined and created by the client’s family and the case management team.
• Process electronic documents such as daily session notes.
• Utilize smartphone applications and access email communication.
