Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis or in mental health, psychology, or human services.
  • 1-3 years of experience with documented training in behavior intervention techniques required.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated skills with motivating team, building rapport, and driving results to meet goals.
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative supervision and guidance of the Behavior Analysts and Behavioral Intervention Therapy Department.
  • Supervision of assigned staff includes performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.
  • Make decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, corrective action plans, and similar actions.
  • Determine caseloads and assign cases to team, review treatment plans to ensure completeness and accuracy, track all necessary data related to case management performance targets and timeliness of reports, maintaining internal and external file compliance.
  • Ensure consistent utilization of applied behavior analysis techniques, promote a therapeutic environment, and develop/support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work with management team to design effective policies and procedures for behavioral intervention and serve as liaison to other departments within the agency.
  • Instruct and support staff in the use of behavior intervention strategies, providing in-service training and professional development to facilitate the growth of staff.
  • Facilitate behavior intervention team department meetings, including developing an agenda, conducting training updates, and disseminating information related to policy, procedure, and updates regarding funders, etc.
  • Maintain an individual case-load and perform all the duties of a behavior analyst.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state licensing requirements, while internally adhering to all policies and procedures.
