Provides administrative intervention for students with behavioral problems and ensures school safety in a Day School setting. This role involves addressing behavioral or attendance problems, de-escalating inappropriate behavior, supervising student movement, ensuring safety during emergency procedures, and caring for student health and well-being. The Behavioral Interventionist also monitors student progress, oversees field trips, provides positive reinforcement, communicates with professionals and parents, prepares reports, and assists with safety holds and emergency events. Participation in summer programming is also required.
