About The Position

California Behavioral Treatment Center is hiring Behavioral Interventionists to provide personalized, respectful ABA therapy to children and adolescents. The center emphasizes care rooted in each family’s culture and story, within a supportive, culturally responsive team environment. The role begins part-time at 15–20 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into full-time hours depending on center needs and the candidate’s availability. Hiring is throughout Los Angeles County, including Compton, Lynwood, South Gate, Bell, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, Walnut Park, Maywood, Paramount, Bellflower, Carson, and Wilmington.

Team members receive ongoing training and clinical guidance, with opportunities for professional development and career progression in the ABA field. Compensation is $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and education.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a TB test.
• Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Spanish speaker strongly needed.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, or a related field; it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Support ABA treatment programs in home and school environments.
• Assist in developing treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
