The Center for Youth, a non-profit organization founded by youth for youth, partners with local school districts to provide academic instruction and socio-emotional support to students who commit infractions. The goal is to reduce repeat offenses by creating opportunities, removing barriers, and promoting social justice. The Behavior Intervention Specialist will establish a youth/family/faculty-friendly presence within the school, fostering cooperative relationships and direct communication. Help Zones are designed to intervene in crises, deescalate situations, and facilitate students' return to the classroom within 5-30 minutes.
