About The Position

The KonTerra Group is building a roster of specialized Behavioral Health Trainers in preparation for upcoming federal opportunities. These trainers will deliver certified behavioral health and clinical training to professionals and paraprofessionals. The trainings will be deployed in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format in areas affected by recent disaster declarations or national emergencies. Deployments may be within the United States and its territories. This posting is for roster-building purposes and is not a currently confirmed job or active task order.

Requirements

• Nationally recognized trainer, certified to provide one or more of the required training modalities.
• Current, unrestricted, and valid license to practice in one of the 50 states, U.S. territories, or Washington D.C., as an LCSW, PhD Psychologist, PsyD., or M.D./D.O. Psychiatrist, or comparable profession.
• Demonstrated experience working with survivors of disasters, evidenced by a keen understanding and knowledge of the impacts of recent disasters.
• Experience delivering behavioral health training designed for professionals and paraprofessionals.
• Willingness to deploy to recently impacted disaster locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver certified behavioral health and clinical training to professionals and paraprofessionals.
• Deploy in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid posture in areas where a disaster declaration or national emergency has recently occurred.
• Provide training in modalities such as PFA Train-the-trainer (TtT), SPR Train-the-trainer (TtT), Psychological First Aid (PFA), Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR), Healing After Trauma Skills (HATS), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and Prolonged Exposure (PE).
