About The Position

Behavioral Health Providers at UW Health promote well-being, healing, and recovery. We are seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist, Substance Use to provide substance use, and mental health evidence-based treatments to adults and adolescents ages 13-25, with the ability to make dual diagnoses. This role involves performing assessments, treatment planning, ongoing individual and group therapy, care coordination, and completing related documentation. The position offers a mix of telehealth (work from home) and in-clinic care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other behavioral health related field Required
• 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults Required
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Professional Counselor Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR within 6 months Required

Nice To Haves

• 5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults Preferred
• Substance Abuse Counselor Upon Hire Preferred or
• Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor Upon Hire Preferred

Responsibilities
