Pyramid Healthcare at Silver Ridge is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team in a full-time weekend schedule supporting clients in a residential behavioral health setting. This position is ideal for individuals interested in mental health, substance use treatment, or healthcare. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. As a BHT, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment while supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm and effective during crisis situations
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible and reliable for weekend scheduling

Nice To Haves

  • Behavioral health, mental health, healthcare, or residential experience preferred
  • Experience leading groups or activities is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with client intake, orientation, and admissions process
  • Monitor client safety, behavior, and emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and shift reports
  • Support daily schedules, programming, and treatment plan goals
  • Facilitate groups, activities, and structured programming
  • Assist with medication line and safety checks/searches
  • Provide crisis support and de-escalation when needed
  • Maintain therapeutic boundaries and professional conduct
  • Assist with housekeeping and unit organization
  • Support communication between clients and clinical staff
  • Train new staff on unit procedures as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
