About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for its inpatient detox and residential facility in Aurora, Colorado. The role supports daily residential operations, client engagement, team training, and adherence to facility policies, helping maintain a warm and positive recovery environment.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the Behavioral Health Technician team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and Behavioral Health Technicians comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
