About The Position

Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers is seeking a patient-focused technician to deliver life-changing TMS and esketamine therapies in their welcoming outpatient centers. This is an opportunity to grow skills, receive specialized training, and connect with patients. The role is full-time, Monday-Friday, with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7 am and 7 pm. The position is primarily based in the Fairfax center, with occasional regional coverage in Reston as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, Medical Assistant certification, or equivalent clinical certification.
  • Significant relevant work experience.
  • Consistent work history.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field.
  • At least one year of healthcare work experience.
  • AdvancedMD and SalesForce preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines.
  • Meticulously monitor patient responses.
  • Administer and record psychiatric rating scales.
  • Proactively address patient discomfort.
  • Deliver empathetic and supportive care.
  • Maintain accurate EHR.
  • Manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures.
  • Understand and assist with insurance and billing processes as needed.
