Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in their daily activities and recovery journey. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal and observation skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor client safety and provide supervision at all times
- Assist clients with daily living activities and routines
- Facilitate groups and recreational activities as assigned
- Document client behaviors and interactions accurately
- Support clinical staff in implementing treatment plans
- Conduct room checks and ensure facility rules are followed
- Provide transportation for clients as needed
- Respond to crisis situations and follow proper protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Other relevant duties as assigned
