Make a difference as a BHT As a newly minted Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Sanctuary Recovery Centers, your day will be a dynamic blend of engagement and support. You'll kick off each morning with a collaborative team huddle, discussing client needs and daily goals. Throughout the day, you'll interact directly with clients, providing compassionate care and facilitating activities that promote recovery. Expect to encourage and motivate individuals as they navigate their challenges while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Documenting client progress and contributing to care plans are essential parts of your role, ensuring that everyone’s journey is tracked and celebrated. You’ll problem-solve with your team, brainstorming creative approaches to enhance care. With a flexible mindset, you’ll adapt to the lively, ever-changing landscape of mental health support. Requirements

Minimum of one year of full-time behavioral health experience.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have fingerprint clearance card pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-411 or ability to apply for one within 20 working days of employment.
Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid training and certification.
Technical proficiency with documentation tools and established protocols.
Pass a background check.
Pass a drug screening test.
Pass an APS (Adult Protective Services) registry check.

Nice To Haves

Long-term sobriety.
A degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Assist in assessments, treatment plans, individual and group counseling, and discharge planning.
Responsible for the Assisted self-administration of medication in the absence of a registered nurse.
Attend clinical oversight and training sessions each month.
