About The Position

Join our team as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based mental health interventions and support services to youth with behavioral and psychiatric needs. As a BHT, you’ll work in a variety of community-based settings—including homes, schools, and other natural environments—helping clients build essential coping skills, improve daily functioning, and achieve personal goals. You’ll partner closely with families and clinical teams to deliver compassionate, strengths-based care tailored to each child’s unique needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about mental health, enjoys working one-on-one with youth, and thrives in flexible, non-traditional settings outside of an office environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience of provision of behavioral health services
  • Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization
  • Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Extremely organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, flexible, and able to work independently
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking)

Responsibilities

  • Implement specific treatment goals as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Implement sound clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children/adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting.
