About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking to hire Behavioral Health Technicians for their facility in Baton Rouge, LA. Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with eighteen locations across seven states, offering evidence-based clinical programs and individualized care. Their programs include detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
• Dignified character that models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
