Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) are responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams. This includes assisting with admissions, transportation, meals, medication administration, and client supervision. BHTs are crucial in engaging and building rapport with clients, fostering a warm and accepting recovery environment. They are responsible for monitoring clients, enforcing Avenues policies to ensure safety, and recording and escalating critical incidents. Additionally, BHTs fulfill administrative duties such as shift documentation, inventory management, attending meetings, and providing general office support.
