Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) are responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams. This includes assisting with admissions, transportation, meals, medication administration, client supervision, and managing phone communications. BHTs are expected to engage with clients, build rapport, and create a warm, accepting recovery environment. A key part of the role involves monitoring clients and enforcing Avenues policies to ensure the safety of both clients and staff. Additionally, BHTs must record and escalate critical communications and incidents in a timely manner, and fulfill administrative duties such as shift documentation, inventory management, attending meetings, and general office support.
