About The Position
The Behavioral Health Technician supports the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN. The role helps ensure that the schedule and program are consistently delivered, patients are supervised, safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity. This is a full-time, day-shift position at Denver Springs in Englewood, Colorado.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and de-escalation certifications are required within 30 days of hire.
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
