Requirements

High school diploma or GED (required)
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (required for locations with company vehicles or that drive on behalf of the company)
1 year of direct patient care experience (required for new hires for BHT II)
Minimum of 1 year of ERC milieu experience (required for internal teammates only for BHT II)

Nice To Haves

6 months of direct patient care experience (preferred for BHT I)
Mental Health/Psych Tech, CNA (preferred)

Responsibilities

Maintain daily program structure by following the program schedule.
Complete observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by a physician.
Work with patients on de-escalation and implementing coping skills per their treatment plan.
Conduct room searches and luggage searches.
Take patients out on fresh air breaks.
Provide patient transportation as needed for medical appointments.
Take patient vital signs, weights, and urine Specific Gravity.
Act as secondary support staff in group therapy.
Provide meal support and bathroom monitoring.
Complete documentation of patient observations, meals, and individual check-ins during the shift.
Assist with morning routines and Activities of Daily Living while patients are in spa/bathroom.
