About The Position

Pyramid Healthcare at Silver Ridge is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) on our 1st shift team. In this role, you'll help provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals receiving treatment for substance use and behavioral health challenges. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, healthcare, or human services
  • Experience working in a residential treatment environment
  • No experience? No problem. We welcome entry-level candidates who are passionate about helping others and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive, respectful, and therapeutic interactions with clients
  • Assist with admissions, intakes, and orientation of new clients
  • Monitor client behavior and well-being throughout the shift
  • Support clients in following program schedules and expectations
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
  • Conduct client monitoring and routine safety checks
  • Observe medication lines and report concerns as needed
  • Perform client and belongings searches when appropriate
  • Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies or crisis situations
  • Complete accurate shift documentation and communication logs
  • Report client concerns and significant events to the treatment team
  • Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to support client success
  • Assist with light housekeeping, stocking supplies, and maintaining common areas
  • Help ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Support onboarding and training of new staff members as needed
