Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Job Type: Night Shift Schedule: 3x12, Weekends May Vary Experience: 6 months in a behavioral health facility. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CNA
• 6 months in a behavioral health facility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have within 45 days of hire
• Handle with Care (HWC) Mush have within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living.
• Provides or assists with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observes and records patient behavior and activities.
• Reports any changes in physical, mental or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggests modifications to the treatment plan.
• Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.
• Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures.
