About The Position

Camber Children’s Mental Health in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to provide care, supervision, and support to children and youth in a safe, therapeutic environment. The role helps young people work toward treatment goals by supporting daily activities, reinforcing treatment plans developed by nurses and therapists, teaching coping techniques and positive behavior skills, and documenting client activity and progress. The listed starting pay is $18 per hour, with increases based on education and experience. The role is PRN.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited high school.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• At least 20 years old to apply.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training working with children in a behavioral health care or similar environment is preferred.
