About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for the overnight shift (11 PM - 7 AM) at their Lake Ariel location. This facility is a 40-bed residential center offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The BHT will manage daily residential operations, train and support the BHT team, escalate concerns, and oversee client engagement and morale to ensure a positive recovery environment and compliance with Avenues' rules and policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
