About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for the overnight shift (11 PM - 7 AM) at their Lake Ariel location. This is a role within a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers focused on evidence-based clinical curriculum and individualized care. The facility is a 40-bed residential center offering detox and inpatient rehabilitation services in a homey yet modern setting, providing round-the-clock supervision and care.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
