Avenues Recovery Center is seeking to hire Behavioral Health Technicians for our facility in Baton Rouge, LA. Requirements
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required
- Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
- Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
- Dignified character that models recovery principles
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
- Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
- Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
- Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
- Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
