About The Position

Cottonwood Springs is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for their Assessment team. This role is crucial in supporting patients through their admission process and ensuring smooth operations within the behavioral health hospital. The BHT will work the mid-shift, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a 4x10 schedule, typically from 12pm-10pm or 1pm-11pm. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric hospital setting providing care across shifts and populations.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the assessment team in rounding on patients.
• Escorting patients.
• Generating paperwork and packets for admissions.
• Assisting with administrative work.
