About The Position
Provide direct behavioral health patient care by assisting patients with performing activities of daily living. Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions. Observe and record patient behavior and activities. Report any changes in condition and suggest modifications to the treatment plan. Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Bachelors degree in Psychology or similar field
- Psych experience
Nice To Haves
- Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing preferred.
