About The Position

Lead with Compassion and Accountability as a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor. Join a mission-driven team committed to supporting individuals on their path to recovery. As a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor, you’ll provide vital leadership within our substance use recovery programs—supervising a team of Behavioral Health Technicians, overseeing daily program operations, and ensuring the safety and well-being of those we serve. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position working Monday–Friday, days. Some evening, night, or weekend coverage may occasionally be required to support program needs. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • A valid, unrestricted driver's license at time of hire
  • Must obtain and maintain a Class E Missouri driver’s license within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and develop Addiction Recovery Technicians across all shifts
  • Request job openings, coordinate hiring with recruitment staff, and onboard new hires
  • Ensure technician staff documentation is accurate, timely, and aligned with agency policies
  • Review and manage work schedules and timesheets
  • Lead monthly team meetings and in-service trainings
  • Support and participate in annual staff performance reviews
  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff to coordinate treatment efforts and maintain continuity of care
  • Support the development and oversight of the program’s admission tracking system
  • Maintain unit files and essential records: shift logs, admission logs, group logs, safety drills, and more
  • Provide clinical guidance to technicians and oversee day-to-day operations of the unit
  • Ensure safety, structure, and consistency in a recovery-focused setting
  • Communicate with outside agencies, probation/parole officers, and outpatient providers as needed
  • Provide direct care support and assist clients with transportation as clinically indicated
  • Serve as point of leadership in the absence of Program Director or counseling staff
  • Perform all essential functions of an Addiction Recovery Technician, when necessary
