About The Position

JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor to support and lead our team of Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs). This role oversees day-to-day operations in JAMHI’s residential programs. You’ll provide hands-on leadership to BHT staff—managing scheduling, training, and performance—while ensuring care is delivered safely, consistently, and in compliance with standards and licensing requirements. This is a key position for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-centered environment. You'll help shape a supportive, therapeutic space for clients while building a strong, dependable team culture rooted in high-quality behavioral health care.

Requirements

Three years of experience providing direct behavioral health services to individuals with severe mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, or intellectual/ developmental disabilities.
One year in a supervisory or lead role within behavioral health or a related field.
Current CPR Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Valid driver's license with the ability to clear JAMHI auto insurance screening.
Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements.
Valid Alaska driver's license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier and/or if driving.

Behavioral Health Assistant Occupational Endorsement
Post secondary education in a related field can substitute on a year for year basis for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

Occasional BHT shift coverage, when necessary.
