About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Shift Supervisor for their Detox and Residential treatment facility in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves managing daily residential operations, training and supporting the BHT team, overseeing client engagement and morale, and ensuring compliance with Avenues' rules, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a warm and empathetic personality, and a commitment to modeling recovery principles.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

Valid driver's license
CPR certification

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
