About The Position

Oakwood Springs is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) III to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a full-time night position with a schedule of 3x12, from 7pm to 7am. Oakwood Springs is part of Lifepoint Health, a healthcare delivery network committed to employee well-being and community health. As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensuring the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
• Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
• Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health facility
• Direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred
• Must obtain and maintain agency affiliation where applicable
