Responsible for providing direct care, supervision, and support to patients in our acute care units. Assist with daily activities including meals, personal hygiene, and engagement in clinical activities. Help to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment while monitoring patient well-being alongside medical and clinical teams, which includes patient de-escalation when necessary. Observe and document patient behaviors, assisting with admissions and discharges, and completing regular safety checks. Participate in patient rounds as part of multi-disciplinary team and documenting regularly in patient charts. Help maintain overall safety of the milieu, responding to emergency codes, and escorting patients to treatment and other areas of the facility as needed. The Longview Campus is the new Acute Care Behavioral Health facility which serves Larimer County residents in need of urgent help with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
