About The Position

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Opportunity within Residential. Position: Full-Time. Shift: Overnight, from 7:00pm to 7:30am. For over 60 years, Calvary Healing Center has provided a full continuum of care, specializing in addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area and Nationwide. Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers onsite detoxification and in-patient treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Through our programs we offer many other holistic healing and treatment options complementing our services ranging from yoga, art workshops, and music. Summary of Duties The BHT operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The BHT works under the direction of the Behavioral Health Residential Facility (BHRF) Manager and Outpatient Director.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required.
Must be 21 years of age to be a BHT.
Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
Possession of a Valid Driver's License and pass a 39-month driving report
Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

Operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
Works under the direction of the Behavioral Health Residential Facility (BHRF) Manager and Outpatient Director.
