About The Position

Copa Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our PRN Program. This position provides flexible coverage and support to our Community Living Programs, serving adults in residential program settings. As a PRN BHT, you’ll play a vital role in supporting members with behavioral health needs, fostering independence, stability, and personal growth in a safe and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two - four years of behavioral health experience, preferably working with youth and/or adults in residential settings.
  • Strong understanding of DBT principles and willingness to complete DBT training.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different program environments and member needs.
  • TB test clearance required prior to employment.
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

  • associate or bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care, supervision, and behavioral support to youth and adults in residential and program environments.
  • Implement individualized treatment and behavioral plans while maintaining a supportive, trauma-informed approach.
  • Engage members in daily living activities, skill-building exercises, and recreational opportunities.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with program expectations and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and clinical staff to promote member success and program quality.
