This position provides direct patient care, primarily those tasks requiring less technical nursing skills, under the direction of a Behavioral Health Specialist or registered nurse. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team to support patients with behavioral health conditions including substance use, PTSD, suicidal or homicidal ideation, mental instability, and trauma. Observes and documents patient mood, behavior, and interactions; completes rounds and precautionary checks; reports concerns to nursing staff. Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs delegated care tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse. Maintains a clean, organized, safe, and well‑stocked patient care environment.
