About The Position

The Behavioral Health Services Manager will lead the implementation of World Relief Spokane’s Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) service line expansion. This position provides trauma-informed care, oversees program delivery, supports staff and volunteers, and ensures high-quality, culturally responsive services that strengthen the mental health and well-being of refugee and immigrant families. This role is responsible for supervising others and includes responsibilities consistent with supervising employees, including but not limited to monitoring daily work activities, tracking and approving timesheets including approving time off, monitoring performance including entering goals, progress check-ins, and weekly or bi-weekly check-ins, documenting performance concerns, entering staff promotions, transitions, and separations in HRIS within required time frame. Managers at World Relief are also considered spiritual leaders and are expected to lead staff in a manner consistent with our Christian values, including but not limited to praying with staff, leading devotionals, and fostering a Christian environment in interactions with staff throughout World Relief.

  • Valid drivers license, access to reliable vehicle and ability to pass MVR standards
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or Mental Health Counseling required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in social work, mental health, or program management post graduation.
  • Experience working with refugees, immigrants, or multicultural populations.
  • Successful completion of background check.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee design, delivery, and evaluation of MHPSS group interventions (First Aid Arts, Hope Groups, Amal for Children).
  • Manage program logistics, calendar, and participant recruitment.
  • Facilitate psychosocial groups; conduct intakes, assessments, and referrals.
  • Provide training and reflective supervision for staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Build partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations.
  • Track outcomes using validated tools; prepare reports for funders and leadership.
  • Ensure program compliance with policies, ethical standards, and funding requirements.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned
