About The Position

World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization seeking individuals who are compassionate, advocate for justice, and stand up for the rights of the vulnerable. The organization is rapidly expanding and looking for people to make a tangible difference in the world. This specific role, the Behavioral Health Services Manager, will lead the implementation of World Relief Spokane’s Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) service line expansion. The position provides trauma-informed care, oversees program delivery, supports staff and volunteers, and ensures high-quality, culturally responsive services that strengthen the mental health and well-being of refugee and immigrant families. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home per week.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, access to reliable vehicle and ability to pass MVR standards.
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or Mental Health Counseling required.
  • 2+ years' experience in social work, mental health, or program management post graduation.
  • Experience working with refugees, immigrants, or multicultural populations.
  • Successful completion of background check.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees, including monitoring daily work activities, tracking and approving timesheets, approving time off, monitoring performance, documenting performance concerns, and managing staff changes in HRIS.
  • Lead staff in a manner consistent with Christian values, including praying with staff, leading devotionals, and fostering a Christian environment.
  • Oversee design, delivery, and evaluation of MHPSS group interventions (First Aid Arts, Hope Groups, Amal for Children).
  • Manage program logistics, calendar, and participant recruitment.
  • Facilitate psychosocial groups; conduct intakes, assessments, and referrals.
  • Provide training and reflective supervision for staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Build partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations.
  • Track outcomes using validated tools; prepare reports for funders and leadership.
  • Ensure program compliance with policies, ethical standards, and funding requirements.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
