About The Position

This position requires a Registered Nurse with a license in Alabama and a minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare facility, preferably in Behavioral Health. The role demands a proven track record of successful performance and demonstrated knowledge in managing various divisional systems including governance, fiscal, environmental, human resource, clinical, and community-based operations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to plan, organize, implement, lead, direct staff, coordinate, and communicate effectively at an administrative level, interacting with hospital personnel, the Board, Medical Staff, the community, and regional/state/national healthcare entities. A strong understanding of administrative, clinical, and technical systems within Agency management and healthcare operations is essential, along with the ability to independently resolve strategic and tactical problems with objectivity and principle. A valid Alabama Driver's license, access to a reliable automobile, and current BLS certification are also required.

Requirements

  • Attended an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current unencumbered Nursing License of Alabama as a Registered Nurse.
  • License maintained with timely completing of CEU's and licensure acquisitions.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a RN in a healthcare facility.
  • Experience in Behavioral Health preferable.
  • Proven track record of successful performance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and successful experience in managing divisional systems of governance, fiscal, environmental, human resource, clinical, community based.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, implement, lead, direct staff, coordinate and communicate on a general administrative level.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with personnel, Board, Medical Staff, community and the regional and state and national healthcare levels.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the administrative, clinical and technical systems and phases of Agency management and healthcare operations.
  • Ability to work independently in resolving strategic and tactical (operating) problems without impairment and intimidation, with objectivity and principle.
  • A valid and current Alabama Driver's license without felony driving convictions.
  • Access to a reliable automobile.
  • Currently BLS certification.
