About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of nursing care. The professional nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for appropriate delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team. This is a per-diem, part-time, on-site position at Burlington Hospital, working 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements

• New Jersey RN license.
• Associate’s degree required.
• 0–1 years of experience required.

Nice To Haves

• 2–4 years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participate in clinical decision-making.
• Educate patients and their families or responsible parties about disease processes, individual care needs, wellness, and safety issues.
• Delegate and monitor care provided by other members of the nursing department and healthcare team.
• Participate in orientation, education, and development of the healthcare team.
• Identify and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies.
