About The Position

University Health Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, clinical leader to oversee our residential services over the weekends. This unique leadership role supports clients with severe and persistent mental illness across our diverse housing continuum, including four intensive group homes and three supportive housing sites (residential clustered apartments). This position is ideal for an experienced bachelors-level professional or a clinician currently pursuing a master’s degree who wants to maintain full-time benefits while freeing up their weekdays for classes, internships, or personal commitments.

Requirements

  • Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field approved by the State of Missouri, and must be a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP) or licensed/licensable (e.g., LMSW, PLPC, LCSW, LPC) in the State of Missouri.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with significant, demonstrated leadership and clinical experience working with the behavioral health population.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health, with a preference for prior supervisory, case management, or residential housing experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to lead multicultural staff and serve diverse client populations.
  • Must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and maintain these requirements as a condition of employment.
  • Completion of all required orientation and leadership training within the established company timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical operations, staffing, and milieu management across four group homes and three supportive housing apartment sites during weekend hours.
  • Lead, mentor, and support Mental Health Techs working across day, evening, and overnight weekend shifts to ensure high-quality, consistent client care.
  • Oversee immediate clinical needs, crisis de-escalation, and the implementation of treatment plans, utilizing Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) principles.
  • Partner closely with weekday Residential Managers and the Director of Residential Housing to ensure seamless communication, shift handoffs, and care coordination.
  • Foster a compassionate, inclusive, and stable environment that promotes client independence while empowering weekend staff.
