About The Position

The Desert Riverside Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is dedicated to helping individuals find relief from distress and achieve stability. The program believes that recovery begins internally and aims to equip individuals with coping skills for challenges. The facility serves up to 8 adults and 4 adolescents in a 12-chair setting, supported by a multidisciplinary team including clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and peer specialists.

Requirements

  • Master's in Social Services with a California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
  • Four (4) years of experience in an administrative management position in a health care setting
  • Two (2) years of responsibility for supervision of professional staff, budgeting, program planning, and licensing
  • Understanding of community mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation concepts, and the recovery philosophy
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
  • If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.

  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and leading the team of people providing patient care.
  • Managing the business operations of the Program.
  • Managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Program.
  • Ensuring successful management and leadership over the 4 Pillars of performance: Clinical Quality, Workforce Engagement, Customer Satisfaction, Financial Security.
  • Collaborating with all corporate functions and outside consultants and representatives of the program to State/County agencies, community partners, and consumer groups.
  • Participating in a structured on-call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work-related needs within a designated timeframe.
  • Actively monitoring communications (e.g., phone, email) and responding in accordance with operational protocols while on-call.
