About The Position

Purpose: As our Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) on the Ryan Wellness Services Team you will work with a collaborative interdisciplinary medical and mental health team to provide whole person care. Job Summary: You will be the lead therapist on the integrated team and serve as an expert consultant to the medical team. You will report to the Program Supervisor.

Requirements

• Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field
• 1+ year internship
• One (1) or more years experience in a clinical setting
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or full license acquired within twelve (12) months.
• Experience providing clinical assessments and brief intervention
• Mastery of evidence-based psychotherapy models and practice
• Experience working in an integrated health environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial comprehensive assessments of new clients.
• Assist the team in conducting updated assessments.
• Provide brief, episodic psychotherapy, addressing mental health issues and physical health complaints.
• Manage a small caseload of high need clients needing both psychotherapy and complex case management.
• Serve as a consultant to the medical team and provide mental health assessments, psychotherapeutic and wellness interventions.
