Marathon Petroleum Co. is seeking an Associate Behavioral Health Professional to administer, organize, coordinate and provide behavioral health programs and services to employees. This position will be based out of the Western region but will provide services to Marathon Petroleum employees nationwide.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in behavioral health related field
  • Current certification/licensure in behavioral health such as Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Addiction Counselor
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task, and be flexible
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skill
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy appropriate to the situation
  • Ability to maintain effective work relationships with all levels of colleagues
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Training in Critical Incident Stress Management efforts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Delivers comprehensive behavioral health programs, resources, and educational sessions for specific location or component employees and eligible family members.
  • Collaborates with external behavioral health partners, including contracted mental health coaches, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) programming and providers, and other mental health consultants
  • Involvement in Critical Incident Stress Management activities including deploying to locations as part of the peer support team, serving as location or component specific resource, and assisting the CISM Specialist to coordinate any emotional and behavioral support.
  • Assesses the effectiveness of behavioral health programs by monitoring key performance indicators, conducting needs assessments, and generating comprehensive reports for leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Delivers responsive customer service to all engaged employees and eligible family members, addressing inquiries related to behavioral health resources, crisis support, and overall well-being.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
