Sound Behavioral Health is growing and hiring a Behavioral Health Outreach Clinician in Seattle, WA. Sound is one of King County’s most comprehensive providers of quality mental health and addiction treatment services, supporting our area’s most vulnerable populations. A central tenet of our work is Reaching Recovery, an evidence-based clinical care model. Sound clinicians are focused on demonstrating compassion, patience, and understanding when treating clients. We believe in and advocate for Diversity, Equity, Justice, and Inclusion for our team and clients. Clinicians working in the Behavioral Health Outreach Program (BHOP) have the opportunity to work in a self-directed capacity in the community for much of the week and utilize a range of brief interventions and therapeutic clinical skills. This program serves public housing residents with behavioral health concerns. As the program is project-based, we can engage clients outside of a fee-for-service model, but work diligently to connect individuals to long-term supports or providers when appropriate. The primary office is located in the Lake City neighborhood in Seattle. The role requires frequent driving and outreach in the community.
