The purpose of this position is to provide community outreach to identify and engage people who may have behavioral health needs and who need assistance gaining entry to HFS services. The Behavioral Health Navigator will meet these individuals where they are, screen for needs, build rapport, connect to appropriate resources, and provide case management for those who are waiting to transition into service enrollment. This position requires a high level of problem solving and organization. This position requires an individual who has a willingness to work with people who are living with complex behavioral health needs. Specific project, program or office responsibilities may occur at this level.
