About The Position

This position serves as a Marketer or "Service Development Representative" responsible for community-based case management functions. The role acts as a liaison between providers and referral sources to ensure smooth transitions of services. The Service Development Representative develops and implements business and marketing plans for the facility, establishes strategic marketing plans to achieve objectives, and manages their individual marketing budget. This role collaborates with the medical director, program administrator, staff, and the community to identify educational needs. The SDR is responsible for developing referral relationships within the community, acting as a conduit for information between the facility and resources, and ensuring awareness of how services can meet client needs. The SDR collects information from referring professionals or facilities, meets with potential patients, and conducts pre-admission screenings as a liaison between the source and hospital to gather essential information for the clinical team's admission eligibility assessment. The SDR assists with care alternatives for patients and families and communicates pre-screening results and recommendations to patients, families, and referral sources according to company policy. This position is actively involved in community development of hospital services, providing consultative and educational services, promoting mental health prevention awareness, and participating in community resource boards. The Representative develops positive relationships with community resources and networks to ensure a seamless continuum of care and maintain collaborative relationships, with the ultimate goal of improving overall community life for mental health patients referred to the organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Sales or Development in healthcare and/or medical industry is required.
