We invite you to partner with us in our mission to improve mental healthcare. The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility. Designed to help adult residents, ages 18-59, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to community. Services include: 24/7 Program Therapeutic and mental health services Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services Pre-vocational or vocational counseling Medication evaluation and support services Daily exercise and health/wellness education Crisis intervention We are committed to providing a career-enhancing environment for dedicated professionals desiring to improve the lives of people living with mental health and other challenges to their well-being. Requirements

  • Active, valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with medication administration (Required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • First Aid certification from an approved provider (such as the American Red Cross).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience treating individuals with mental illness in an inpatient setting (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct client care, including medication administration and supervising the nursing activities of unit staff.
  • Ordering, preparing, and documenting medications according to physician orders and confirming pharmacy deliveries.
  • Communicating important information to the team.
  • Writing weekly client summaries as assigned.
  • Maintaining accurate nursing documentation throughout the shift.
  • Performing other related duties as needed.
