About The Position

RHA Health Services is seeking compassionate and caring licensed professionals to join their interdisciplinary healthcare team at the Behavioral Health Crisis Center. This role focuses on providing support to individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues in a crisis center setting. The position emphasizes creating strength-based interventions aimed at promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and linkage to appropriate care. The company has been providing services for over 30 years and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and/or substance use needs live their best lives.

Requirements

  • Must meet the requirements of a Fully or Associate Licensed Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Master’s Degree or Higher & 1+ years full-time experience with population served.
  • License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession.
  • Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required
  • Complete criminal background
  • Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Case Management functions of linking and arranging for services and referrals
  • Provide support to individuals with Mental Health (MH) or Substance Abuse issues in a crisis center setting.
  • Complete crisis assessment, discharge planning and care coordination with stakeholders.
  • Complete risk assessments such as the Columbia Suicide Severity Scale and the Violence Risk Assessment
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and solution focused interventions
  • Working closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and providing feedback
  • Complete all documentation accurately in within the current working shift
