Easterseals MORC offers unpaid clinical internship opportunities for social work and counseling students seeking hands-on experience in a community mental health setting. Opportunities may be available across multiple programs and departments, with placement depending on academic level (bachelor’s or master’s), clinical experience, program requirements, student interests, current program needs, supervisor availability, and openings. The internships are intended to support the development of clinical, case management, care coordination, assessment, and other behavioral health skills. Not all programs are available for every academic level or semester, and applying does not guarantee an interview or placement. Before a placement can be finalized, Easterseals MORC must have an active affiliation agreement with the student’s college or university. If no agreement is currently active, placement cannot be confirmed until a new agreement is established and approved; this may take additional time and does not guarantee placement. Applications for Winter 2027 are expected to close during the first week of December 2026. Students are encouraged to apply early because placement capacity is limited. The internship is unpaid and internship hours are not compensated.
