Behavioral Health Inpatient Nurse - PRN
About The Position
Vail Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) with experience in inpatient behavioral health to join their team at the Precourt Healing Center, a new state-of-the-art behavioral health inpatient center. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health care to patients in need of psychiatric and mental health support, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. The position requires strong clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a PRN (as needed) position with day and night shifts available, eligible for a 16% PRN Differential.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after 07/01/2018.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
- Inpatient behavioral health experience is preferred.
- Experience with crisis intervention and management of acute psychiatric conditions is highly desirable.
