About The Position

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Psychologists and Board-Certified Psychiatrists to perform one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans. The role involves reviewing medical histories, conducting in-person evaluations with potential telehealth opportunities, and completing electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). There is no ongoing treatment, therapy, or prescribing involved.

The position is full-time W2 and described as a long-term contract of 52 or more weeks with automatic renewal. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The role is based in Augusta, Georgia, with in-person work and remote telehealth as needed.

Requirements

• Psychologists must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program, focused on adult populations in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
• Psychiatrists must have an MD or DO and board certification or completion of a two-year specialty residency.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. state professional license.
• Strong computer proficiency and comfort with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Excellent time management, critical thinking, and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience conducting VA or C&P disability evaluations.
• Strong background in clinical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review Veteran medical records, service history, and prior examination documentation.
• Conduct non-treatment behavioral health evaluations and complete DBQs and medical opinions using an electronic portal.
• Explain the evaluation process to Veterans and accurately capture examination findings.
• Submit completed examination charts within 24–48 hours after assessment.
• Administer and interpret psychological testing as required.
